The Adobe Flash Lite 3 runtime now supports FLV, the most popular video format for the Internet. With Flash Lite 3, users can engage with web video on their devices just as they do on the desktop PC, either by streaming video or by downloading video clips as standalone applications or even integrated with a mobile web browser. Flash Lite 3 includes support for On2 VP6 and Sorenson video codecs.

Flash Lite 3.0+ includes H.264 standard video support, the same standard deployed in Blu-Ray and HD-DVD high definition video players and HD web videos. Flash Lite playback of H.264 video will be dependent on the OEM’s implementation on the device for seamless play back and delivery of H.264 video.

Fully Integrated authoring environment:

Developers can build, preview, and test Flash Lite 3 content using Flash CS4 Professional and Adobe Device Central CS4 in Adobe Creative Suite 4 software.
