Windows has expanded its Operating System performance, visual looking and more exciting features in Windows 7 release. All are awaiting for its forthcoming release date (may be in 2010), until we can feel its features from beta release by Microsoft.

Microsoft has started its beta testing from 2009 itself because of consumer level beta testing to worth OS performance.

The main features covered in Windows 7 in such areas are,

Window 7′s Task bar:

Windows 7 taskbar functionality has been improved for better preview of what windows(applications) currently running. In which you can set the order in which the icons appear and they’ll stay put. Just mouse over a full screen preview before switching to the window.

Enhanced Jump list:

Its not like Windows Vista or XP start menu, the jump list feature also provides recently used/created files from that particular application in which you may mouse over or right clicked.

Working around Windows:

How many times you resized your application window? if its many means the Windows 7 simplified window resizing option available around the corners.

For Web Browsing:

Windows 7 has built with newest version of Internet Explorer(IE 8). Now the net surfing never ends from your PC.

It is the latest and most expected after failure of its beta release. The new feature in IE 8 is the spelling … no.. no.. Synonym suggestion while you start typing. Now you can get dictionary from Internet Explorer.

Device Management:

With Windows 7, you can use a single Devices and Printers screen to connect, manage, and use whatever printers, phones, and other devices you have on-hand. It allows easy plug-and-play feature.

The most important is device grouping in one window.

Networking feature:

Its now more than the previous release of Windows operating systems, provides additional feature of Home Group Network sharing.

What you need now…?

Just upgrade when Microsoft announcing Windows 7 release. If you need a beta testing software means just visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/beta-download.aspx then follow their instructions to get a Free copy of Window 7 from Microsoft.

Most of the commercial software products offers(forced) to download their product service updates, patches, hot-fixes online. Is they are bringing us into the security or our system control taken to themselves?.

This is the big black mark question to today’s software(digital) vendors and manufactures.

The reason behind these are easy and comfortable for product users who owns that particular software. If you decided to buy a Antivirus software for your desktop system from manufacturers like Norton, Trend Micro, Kaspersky, ZoneAlarm, Avast, BitDefender or any .. they will give you a product licence(upto the years you paid money) with 24×7 support – It may be online or offline communication.

However, the lateral part(support) is not only the technical issues like, installation, upgration, plan changes, product failures. It also dealt with regular updates via downloading hot-fixes.

Here is our protection starts and problem arises, some of the digital products are initially tested with some of the review sites , but the updates not monitored where they may include – harmful virusus, system tracking spywares or even malwares also.

That why I started this post with a question. Then the big question is never ends without standard monitorization of digital products.
